Philosophy of Faith
DAS uses the Bible as the textbook and Jesus as the Guide for transforming not only students’ relationship with Him but with our teachers’ as well. To this end, using this the Encounter® curriculum along with the unit guides, appendices, and online resources students and teachers will not only discover, inquire, and experience Bible stories and spiritual truths, but also encounter God Himself.
We don't claim to have all of the answers; we're in this together, discovering what it's like to be a growing, learning community that is in love with God. here is what we teach:
ANCIENT AND TIMELESS
A MASTERPIECE OF LITERATURE
GOD’S ROLE IN HUMAN HISTORY
OUR PLACE IN GOD’S PLAN
TRUTH TO GUIDE US
